We are committed to removing the vast amounts of plastic from our rivers. Using our waste collection boats, we remove tons of trash from rivers and waterways around the world.

What drives everwave

Every year, more than 19 million tons of plastic waste end up in our waters and oceans. And plastic is persistent - it has been found at the deepest point of the Mediterranean Sea, in the stomachs of fish, and microplastics have even been detected in human organs. The natural cycle has been thrown out of balance - and that’s exactly what we want to change!

What everwave has going on in 2026

In 2025, we opened our new cleanup site in Albania - a true milestone for us, with our own boat on site and a zero-waste center where the collected waste is sorted and prepared for further processing. This year, we aim to strengthen our locations in Cambodia, and Albania, and continue our efforts to ensure that less plastic ends up in the environment.
